Mindful Progress is a calm, warm companion for the work you do between therapy sessions. It ships as two clients sharing one backend: a React + Vite web app and a native iOS/Android Expo app that mirrors the web screen-for-screen. Both sign in through the same Clerk instance and read/write the same Postgres database via a single Express API server. Track therapy goals, log a 60-second daily check-in on mood, energy, anxiety, and sleep, journal privately, record gratitude, plan your week with a drag-and-drop planner, and see how your habits correlate with your mood over time.
Mindful Progress was built at the Replit 10th Birthday Buildathon with a dear friend who is a practicing therapist. She kept seeing the same gap with her clients: the work that matters most happens between sessions, but most people are either carrying around a paper notebook they forget to fill in, or they have nothing at all. By the time they sit down for their next appointment, the week is a blur. She wanted her clients to have something simple, private, and structured: a digital alternative to the journal that actually helps them stay organized, see their wins, and walk into the next session with a clear picture of how the week really went.
From there it generalized: most "mental wellness" apps are either chatbots pretending to be therapists or mood-tracking widgets with no clinical grounding. Mindful Progress is neither. It's a deliberately quiet tool, designed with therapist input, that respects the relationship between a client and their clinician and just makes the rest of the week count.
