Coupon Swipe is a deal-discovery app built around the gesture everyone already knows: swipe right to save, swipe left to skip, swipe down for later. It pulls live local business data from the Yelp Fusion API and real weekly grocery flyer deals from Flipp, then surfaces them as swipeable cards sorted by distance from your current location. Available as an installable PWA and as a native Expo mobile app with haptic feedback and platform-adaptive UI.
Coupon Swipe was built at the Replit 10th Birthday Buildathon. Every existing coupon app falls into one of two buckets: a wall of expired text codes you have to scroll forever to find anything in, or a giant retailer's own loyalty app you have to install per brand. Neither matches how people actually want to discover a deal at 6pm on a Tuesday when they're deciding where to eat. The Tinder-style swipe interaction is so familiar that "is this worth my attention" becomes a single thumb motion. Coupon Swipe takes that gesture, applies it to verified local offers, and lets the entire deal landscape near you flow past one card at a time.
From there it generalized: local deals are a market that's been broken for a decade. Merchants want foot traffic, customers want savings, and the existing aggregators are bloated with stale offers and irrelevant geography. Coupon Swipe is opinionated in the other direction: a tight set of categories, real distance filters (10, 25, and 50 miles), real expirations, real promo codes, and an interaction model that respects how little time anyone has to look.
